Position Summary:

Provides administrative support to the human resources function in the areas of HRIS, compensation, benefits, staffing/employment, employee relations, and/or organizational development (OD) and training. Maintains electronic employee files, including electronic filing and retrieval of employee data. Inputs employee personal data into human resources information system (HRIS) database. Processes various forms related to documenting human resources activities such as new-hire, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, terminations, etc. May prepare special reports, to support broader HR team, using HRIS data. Provides information to employees on matters pertaining to their personal employee information.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists with the onboarding and offboarding of employees by entering new hire information our HR database, collecting and tracking new hire forms, establishing personnel files, preparing exit documents and entering status changes in the HR database
  • Provides HRIS system support to employees and the HR organization
  • Answers employee HR related questions through the case tracking system, email, or by phone
  • Provides support to HR Generalists and HR Business Partners for assigned business groups
  • Collaborates with Payroll department in support of the time management system and pay updates
  • Assists in identifying process improvements in HR processes
  • Generates employee letters to communicate pay-related changes upon request • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies.
  • Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
  • Represents the company in a professional manner and uphold the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:

  • Solid systems skills; including expertise in Human Resources information system(s) and solid understanding of MS Office
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with an ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced organization
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Typically requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
